Notary Journal is built so your record stays yours. Here is exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no login, and no server of ours. Every journal entry you create, every void, and every export is stored on your device. We never see it.

What stays on your device

The details you type, such as signer names, document types, ID information, fees, and any thumbprint or photo you capture, are saved in the app's local storage on your phone. They do not leave the device unless you choose to export a copy or share one. When you export a PDF or CSV, the file goes wherever you send it, and that is your choice to make.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not build a profile of you and does not follow you across apps or websites. The privacy manifest shipped with the app declares no tracking and no data collection.

Purchases

If you buy the unlock, Apple processes the payment through the App Store. We do not receive or store your card details. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

Children

Notary Journal is a professional tool for commissioned notaries. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
